We can get you a motorhome title.  There is a fee
depending on whether or not you are buying the
bus from us.  Florida permits a school bus title to
be converted to a motorhome title.  In order to be
operated as a motorhome, the bus must have one
of the following:
1. Installed 110v wiring
2. Installed plumbing system
3. Installed LP gas piping
It is your obligation to make sure at least one
of these systems have been installed in the
bus before driving it on the highway.
Once a motorhome, no special license is required
to drive it, as long as it does not carry more than
14 passengers plus the driver. No CDL is necessary.
No air brake restrictions exist. No GVWR
restrictions exist.  A regular operator's license is
all that is needed.

It is a misdemeanor to operate a converted
school bus that has not been painted a different
color. All lettering that markings that indicate it
being a school bus must be removed.

Other states have different requirements.  Many
converted buses are still school bus yellow. In FL,
these vehicles can be ticketed and you can be
charged with a misdemeanor.  Check with your
state, if we are getting you a motorhome title, to
make sure you understand all of the regulations
regarding the transfer of title, registration, and
operation.  It is your obligation to be compliant.
